Professionally
I’m a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience managing consumer electronics projects from concept to mass production. I’ve traveled to China and Korea for part/process validation and New Product Introduction (NPI). I have extensive experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
Until my recent move to the East Coast (for love!) I was working for the fantastic Tact Product Development in Palo Alto, CA.
Personally
I was born and raised in California, but have lived in Europe and Canada. I went to college on the East Coast graduating from Wesleyan University and Columbia University with degrees in Math/Physics and Mechanical Engineering.
I played hockey competitively in college, but now I just play for fun (and make sure to have a beer afterwards). I also do triathlons, but I’m not very fast. I have, however, successfully completed an Ironman and 8 shorter races to date! And when I’m not breaking a sweat, I like to create small rapid prototyped 3D geometry puzzles.
